The Accommodations area is responsible for providing appropriate, affordable and efficiently utilized housing for all official client groups during the operational period of the 2009 Special Olympics World Winter Games and during the pre-Games period. 

The objective of Accommodations is to match the available supply of housing with the Games-time demand for housing, while matching the appropriate level of quality with each client group. 

 Accommodations ensure that all accommodation venues provide delegations with the best possible opportunity to prepare for competition while fostering a spirit of international friendship and cultural exchange in a safe, secure, and comfortable environment.
