The 2009 Special Olympics World Winter Games would like to thank all the volunteers that helped make the 2008 Special Olympics Invitational Winter Games a reality. Without your hard work and dedication, the Games would not have been possible. The overwhelming response of the Idaho community to give of their time and talents is truly amazing and we are lucky to have such a willing, responsive community to support us in this monumental endeavor. Contribute
The 2009 Special Olympics World Winter Games require a budget of approximately $35 million in cash, in-kind gifts and services to operate the Games. Funding will support venue operations, transportation, housing, meals and other amenities for up to 3,000 athletes from 85 countries, once they arrive in Idaho.
