Welcome, here you will find out how you can get involved with the 2009 Special Olympics World Winter Games. The Games Board of Directors, the Honorary Board and the GOC are committed to take whatever steps necessary to fund, organize and facilitate this marquee event, and seek out the assistance of those who are willing to invest in the futures of these wonderful, vibrant athletes. There are a number of ways you can be a part of the largest multi-day winter sports competition ever held in Idaho and we need your help! Volunteers or gifts provided by public and private contributors for the Games, and health education initiatives, will secure a perpetual legacy of the World Winter Game in the United States and Idaho.

Volunteering for this event will be life-changing not only for you but also the athletes. Special Olympics would not exist today — and could not have been created — without the time, energy, commitment and enthusiasm of its volunteers.
