World Winter Games License Plate Now Available!

WWGs License Plate The 2008 Idaho Legislature has created a new special interest license plate program to help promote the 2009 Special Olympics World Winter Games in Idaho. 

The new plate is now available at your local county auto-licensing office, with all but $10.00 of the special program fees benefiting to the 2009 Special Olympics World Winter Games.

Standard issue sequentially numbered 2009 Special Olympics World Winter Games special license plates may now be ordered at any county assessor’s office in Idaho and personalized and sample plates can only be ordered by mail, by fax, or online from the Idaho Transportation Department office in Boise at the following web site at:   https://www.accessidaho.org/secure/itd/personalized/plates.htmlMORE

 

Contribute

The 2009 Special Olympics World Winter Games require a budget of approximately $35 million in cash, in-kind gifts and services to operate the Games. Funding will support venue operations, transportation, housing, meals and other amenities for up to 3,000 athletes from more than 100 countries, once they arrive in Idaho.
